As floydant commented, it's hard to convey your messages in-game and so he recommended making some bare bones signals such as flashing tail lights and Figure 8's. I love the idea and think all BPRC members should establish a code which enables them to communicate online. You could use flashing tail lights, doughnuts, Figure 8s, and such short moves. I created this thread for floydant so others could expand the idea without polluting the Paradise Peeves thread. Since the idea is popular the thread also gets a sticky. Asad

Thanks man. I was thinking, if you take someone out accidentally or mess them up you could show your shame by hari kiri'ing yourself into the nearest barrier in front of your victim ;D Only kidding, when I get chance I'll try to cobble together a rough scheme, and if others do the same we can compare and refine them into something workable.

i think maybe if you f**k someone up you could just turn around and go to them or wait for them. If you are driving along fast and someone takes you out, by the time you respawn you'll immediately know if they have waited for you and that they are apologetic, as opposed to them being a speck on the horizon. When you join a freeburn you could make your way over to where everyone is (always the other side of the city!) and when it's convenient go and make your presence known to your chums, if they are waiting go and give them a doughnut , if they are driving go and drive right near them so they see you maybe. I think badger is onto a winner with the figure of eight, it's not something you tend to do accidentally and it's easily identifiable on the mini map as a farewell for example. What do you think as a start? Any suggestions or criticisms welcomed.

Don't own a mic, never used one. What are they like if 8 people are talking to each other doesn't it get garbled?

This is the first game I've played online properly, I've had the odd go but never regularly til now so I've never needed a mic.
Those of you who have mic's, are they any good? Are they worth getting and do they work well with an 8 man freeburn with multiple people talking?
Not sure I would like a mic, especially if we can sort a system out, but that's just personal preference
