Flower Bridge is located in the confluence of the Small East River Yangtze River tour and the Spirit Sword River in the Seven Stars Park. In the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the bridge collapsed beacuase of flooding. In 1456, the Guilin government built a wooden bridge in its former place. In 1540, the princes of Jing River ordered to rebuild the bridge into the four holes stone bridge to increase the ability to release the flood.
